About Us

A bakery that grew into a
neighborhood staple

The Valley started as a small bakery with a simple conviction: that Montclair deserved a place where the bread was baked by hand and the shelves were stocked with care. Over the years, we expanded our offerings to include a full grocery selection — but the mission hasn't changed.

We source from local farms when we can, work with regional millers for our flour, and still bake every morning before the doors open. Whether you're picking up a single loaf or stocking the week's meals, we treat every visit like a neighbor stopping by.
